Born and raised in Vermont, USA, Galen Broido developed an early appreciation for the value and resilience of small businesses. She carried that passion with her to the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she earned a degree in Marketing while competing as a Division I swimmer. Her background as a high-level athlete instilled discipline, focus, and a commitment to excellence—qualities she continues to bring to her professional work.

After graduation, Galen began her career in Asheville, gaining expertise in SEO, e-commerce, web design, and site maintenance. She later moved to Italy for personal reasons and simultaneously had the opportunity to work under industry expert Andy Broido at Swim Consultant, where she credits much of her professional growth and in-depth knowledge of the swim school industry.

Driven by a desire to help organizations strengthen their digital presence, Galen founded Galenda Media Group, specializing in website design, development, and ongoing management. She also had the opportunity to work with 3rd Level Group, a global consulting company serving childhood development programs. In this role, Galen creates and manages the organization’s digital and print marketing materials while also assisting its diverse client base. Through this collaboration, she has contributed to projects across the swim school and gymnastics industries while supporting small businesses of all kinds in reaching their goals.
